Letter from Daniel Starer

Description

Previous Page - Next Page

Correspondence from Daniel Starer to Ken Follett concerning Colonel "Bull" Arthur D. Simons and the raid on Son Tay (11/1970). Research costs. When two of H. Ross Perot's EDS executives were held hostage in Iran, and with little perceived assistance from the U.S. State Department, Perot formed his own rescue team. Central to this mission was a retired Army colonel, Arthur "Bull" Simons, who had led the Son Tay rescue mission in Vietnam, but who was deceased by the time of Follett's research.
