The Michigan Secretary of State is the chief election officer for the citizens of Michigan. You can find a lot of useful information about voting and elections in Michigan at this website:

Gov Track  provides legislative information in a relatively user-friendly format. Independent, non-partisan information. There is a small amount of advertising - this is where the organization gets its funding.

This is a tool created by the League of Women Voters. It gives you a lot of information on your polling place and provides candidate and ballot guides.
