Philosophy of Assessment

Library assessment is a tool that helps Zahnow Library define goals. We collect data in order to assess, evaluate and improve Melvin J Zahnow Library’s services, resources, facilities and technology. Our library assessment is a dynamic process which incorporates the gathering of information and responding to user needs and wants. It is important to evaluate aspects of the library that can be changed and also be transparent in why user-centered changes are being made at our library.
