Instructions:
Before the meeting:
Departments will discuss potential topics prior to the monthly Library Staff meeting.
Department heads will submit prioritize topics to the Library director 2-3 days prior to the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting:
Prioritized topics will be listed on a white board
The staff member(s) who are involved with the topic(s) will give a 2-3 minute summary
Staff will be asked to select no more than 3-4 topics
After the topics are selected:
Each topic will be discussed in detail. Discussion will be held to 15 minutes. If discussion is needed beyond the 15 minutes, either a pending topic will be removed so the discussion can continue or a separate meeting will be schedule to complete the discussion
Post meeting:
Those responsible for the topic discussion will submit a summary to the Library director
Summaries will be posted as a tab, identified by the date of the meeting, to this guide
