Use these databases for your research if you are off campus AND are not currently enrolled at SVSU as a student or are a former faculty/staff member. The databases are open access, meaning they are freely available to everyone, and the content will not require an SVSU username and password to access.

CINAHL Complete

Articles about nursing and health related topics. Covers nursing, nursing education, nursing technique.
JSTOR Arts & Sciences

Articles and books, primarily in the humanities and social sciences.

SVSU subscribes to Arts & Sciences 1, 2. 3 and 5 only. Other articles and books can be requested through Tipasa.
ProQuest
Articles and information on a variety of topics. 26 databases, searchable at one time.

Searching "ProQuest" will provide results from over 20 ProQuest databases.
ScienceDirect

Articles from 1995 to the present mostly covering the sciences.
Saginaw News Collection
Local news dating back to 1881.
