Finding Historical Primary Resources Library Guide from History Liaison Librarian Catherine Curtis

Records from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA): Teaching with documents

  • These are located on the 3rd floor in the Curriculum Collection. As a reminder, they cannot leave the library.

Walter P. Reuther Library Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs Digital Collections from Wayne State University

  • Digital collections showing historical labor organization publications, photographs and more. 

Freedmen's Bureau Records

  • Records that have been digitized from the Freedmen's Bureau, an agency created at the end of the Civil War tasked with helping those who were no longer enslaved.
