Computers and laptops are located on the library's 1st and 2nd floors. Students may log in to the computers using their SVSU user name and password.
Documents that you print from library computers or that you have printed wirelessly from your device can be released from the Kyocera printers located in the printing alcoves on the library's 1st and 2nd floors. To release your print job, either swipe your SVSU ID using the card reader attached to the printers, or punch in your SVSU user name and password on the printer's touch screen. You can also enter your ID number to release your print jobs. The Kyocera machines will also allow you to scan a document and send it to your email.
Step-by-step instructions are located next to the printers and you can find more information about how to print by logging into the Print Balance link located under SVSU Quicklinks.
Please contact IT support (989-964-4225) if you have any questions.
Students also have the option to check out laptops from the library's Circulation Desk. 20 laptop computers are available for students to check out on a first come-first serve basis for a period of one month. These computers are checked out for 6-hours and can be used on campus only. (You do not have to remain in the library.)
For more information on laptop checkout, please call (989) 964-4240.
