Ken Follett Papers: #13 - Notes to translator Bre

Notes to Bre

Description

Previous Page - Next Page

Robert Bre was the French translator for TRIPLE and poses questions about British idioms and culture. (second page) Follett lived in Grasse, in the South of France, from 1979 to 1981. His comment in the last sentence that his French is very bad is contradicted by his explanation of 'dreaming' versus 'worrying' and by the ample correspondence in the Collection composed in French.
