We Can Help!

Consultation

A librarian can advise you of the availability of library resources, suggest appropriate library resources, point out potential difficulties with the assignment, and in some cases order appropriate materials.

Contact your library liaison.

Subject Guides

Librarians can work with you to create online subject guides to guide students through the use of library resources.  These subject guides can be broad in scope or focused on individual assignments.

The following subject guides were created to guide students to resources related to specific assignments:

SOC 112 - Intro to Anthropology (Ethnographies)

ENG 212 - Holocaust

Instruction

Librarians can work with you to design a library instruction session that will help students prepare for their research assignment.

To schedule instruction, fill out an instruction form or contact Kathleen Kroll, Reference and Instruction Librarian (989-964-7054, kmkroll@svsu.edu)
