This guide will help you become familiar with the services & resources at the Melvin J. Zahnow Library. In addition to this guide, personalized library orientation sessions are available to you. Simply contact me using the chat or email link under my photo or call 989-964-2844 to set up an appointment with me. Orientation sessions can last several minutes or longer, depending on what you would prefer. We will can meet on the first floor of the library near the Research Center Desk (orange lights). Or we can also meet virtually by appointment with MS TEAMS or on chat.
The session is if you would like some training on how to use the various resource the library has to offer both in the building and online. This includes but is not limited to searching the databases and catalog for research materials, making loan requests, and other information to make using the library easier for you during your time at SVSU.
The library also has some training materials available here and if you want help by subject area we have library liaisons who work with specific departments that can help you as well.
