Education: Education Journals

This guide one-stop-shop for services and resources to support classes in the College of Education.

Journals

Below you will find links to journals for use in your research. The links will take you to the webpage showing ways to access the journal.

This is by no means an exhaustive list as we have over 2,000 education journals to choose from! If you are unsure how to get access to an article, please contact Education Liaison Librarian Heather Fisher at hgfisher@svsu.edu.

FYI...

Q. What is an embargo?

A: That is a time period during publishers will not allow institutions access to the most recently published content without charging the institution a significant price increase. Example: If a journal publisher says an article published on August 30, 2021 has a year-long embargo, the article will not be openly available until August 30, 2022.

Q. What if we don't have access to the article I need?

A: Go here to see how to request the article via "Get it with Tipasa."

Q. What is Full Text Finder?

A: Full Text Finder is a piece of software that searches to see if the full text of an article you are interested in is located in another database. If it is not working for you, please email me (Heather Fisher, Education Liaison Librarian) at hgfisher@svsu.edu.

Q. I can't decide what journal might be best for me. What do I do?

A: This is a perfect time to set up an appointment with me! We can go over your assignment and go through which sources would be best for your work!
