Open Resources

These textbooks have been created for free use in courses. These resources may be adopted for use as classroom text, modified to create new texts (as licensing allows), or used as a supplemental learning tool to aid in understanding key concepts.

Mathematics Software

SageMath

SageMath is an open-source mathematics software, designed to create a viable and free alternative to mainstream, pay-to-use softwares such as Matlab.
WeBWorK
Webwork is an open-source, online system for math and science homework that is supported by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). It is complete with a National Problem Library that contains more than 20,000 homework problems for math classes of all levels.

Better Explained is a tutoring site offering additional lessons for students in college algebra, geometry, precalculus, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and programming courses.
Geogebra

Geogebra is a free mathematics site that combines geometry, algebra, and calculus - allowing students to do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections, as well as functions. Students can manipulate these constructions in real time, making it a highly dynamic mathematics software.
Math Planet

Math Planet is an online collection of resources to help students study concepts related to Pre-algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, and Geometry.
MathisPower4u.com

MathisPower4u.com is a website of more than 6,000 free mini-lessons and example videos to aid students studying algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics, among other topics.
PhET Interactive Simulations

These online, open simulations were created by the University of Colorado-Boulder to provide new fun, free, and interactive tools for students to use. All simulations have been tested and evaluated in real-world classrooms. They are licensed under a Creative Commons CC-BY-4.0 license.
