The kappa is now the last one on Earth and keeps an important promise to his human friend. When the promise is delivered, the kappa informs his human friend that he is now the protector of the water.

A new style of dictionary meant for middle grade readers. While its organization is that of a dictionary, for each entry, there is a poem, a quote from an inspiring person, a personal anecdote from the authors, and a "try it" prompt for an activity.
