Research & Instruction Services

We provide research and information literacy assistance, along with library instruction, to the SVSU and local community. We also provide general guidance for A.I. research tools. We also help curate the library's online and print collections to meet the needs of the SVSU community.

We can help you learn to navigate the world information especially through the library's online resources to efficiently and effectively find what you need for your classes and more. We can help you in variety of ways either at our research desk or via email, phone, chat, in CANVAS, or in online meetings.

Research & Instruction Services, along with helping our users, also helps oversee library instruction, archival support, first-year experience library programming, assessment, online and print collections, online course support, marketing and outreach.

During Fall and Winter semester the Research Services desk and chat are open 40 or more hours a week to assist faculty, staff and students.

For questions or problems, please contact Beth Johns. or Matthew Anderson.
