Research & Instruction Services

We provide research and information literacy assistance, along with library instruction, to the SVSU and local community. We also provide general guidance for A.I. research tools. We also help curate the library's online and print collections to meet the needs of the SVSU community.

We can help you learn to navigate the world of information especially through the library's online resources to efficiently and effectively find what you need for your classes, research or just to explore. We can help you in variety of ways either at our desk or via email, phone, chat, in CANVAS, or in online meetings.

Research & Instruction Services, along with helping our users, also helps oversee library instruction, archival support, first-year experience library programming, assessment, online and print collections, online course support, marketing, AI exploration, and outreach.

For questions or problems concerning access to the library's online resources, please contact Beth Johns. or Matthew Anderson.
