TIPASA is the library's system for allowing SVSU users to make material requests for items we do not have in our collection.
Use TIPASA to request books and articles at no direct cost to you from other libraries when they are not available from the Zahnow Library. Delivery times can vary.
Articles usually come in (via a link sent to you) within a few days to a week. Books may take longer. It is recommended to use MelCat for requesting printed books the library does not own. Melcat lets you search libraries across the state of Michigan. There is option to search MelCat from the library's search platform. The icon is located in the upper right corner after you perform a search using the Search from Zahnow box. You can also make requests directly from the Melcat website: www.mel.org/melcat .
