Online Course Support Librarian Program Assessment 2018: Conclusion and Recommendations

This guide provides the data, analysis and results of the student survey for the Online Course Support Librarian Program.

Conclusions from the survey

Students generally found the librarians very helpful and very responsive to their questions.  Students liked that they knew who to contact if they needed help regardless if they used the service or not. The fact that specific librarians were named 59 times shows the OCL librarian is making an impact and making connections with students. Some students responded that they found information on their own and didn't use the OCL librarian, but these students were in the minority. The primary suggestions for the OCL program from the students were better advertisement to the students about this service and more available hours.
