Self-Service Password Reset System

•  What does this mean for users? 
  • If you forget your SVSU password you will no longer have to contact the IT Support Center to have your password reset.  You will be able to do it yourself, saving you time and a phone call.
• What do users have to do? 
  • You need to self-register for Self-Service Password Reset.
• How do I self-register?
  • Visit svsu(dot)edu then select Quicklinks
  • Change Network Password and click on Register for SSPR.
• Do not confuse Self-Service Password Reset with Multi-Factor Authentication. 
  • Both systems require you to register and create your secret questions.
• If you need assistance with SSPR please contact the IT Support Center.
  • Self-register now by visiting svsu(dot)edu then select Quicklinks 
  • Change Network Password and click on Register for SSPR!
• If you haven't registered you will see this message when you attempt to login to SVSU systems, you will need to click next and register before proceeding.
