How to Answer the Phone

To answer the Circulation Main Line press Talk and give the following greeting:

Hello, SVSU Library Circulation Desk, how may I help you?

How to Transfer the Phone

1.  Press Flash.

2.  Dial the 4-digit extension.

3.  Wait for the call to be answered and inform that person that you will be transferring a call to them.

4.  Press Flash

5.  Turn the phone Off.

How to Pick Up Another Line

If a telephone in the Access Services department is ringing and the owner requests that you answer it for them pick up the Circulation Main Line and press Talk followed by *77 and proceed to give the greeting as usual.
